This week in reading I did this based on the story "Past or Present" from a school journal
Describe something nasty or nice that a character did and explain why they did it
Api doesn't want anything to do with the new kid, Matthew. He doesn't want him to be on his soccer team, he doesn't want to hear his jokes, he doesn’t want his gifts!
He did this because he didn’t want to draw attention to himself. He didn’t want Jason, the main bully, to bully him as well. Matthew just wanted someone to hang out with.

I like the way you seat out your writing. It is sad that the kids are being mean to Matthew.you could put some more writing on it.
